Hey everybody! I am having so much fun this week! On Sunday, we went to church and then toured Galveston and Bolivar and then went to the beach. Monday to Wednesday i was at a house laying ceramic tile from 8 am to 5 pm. It was so much fun learning how to do something new and getting to work with and know other people. On Tuesday, I got to work with 6 people from a city about an hour north of Houston. It was just so much fun getting to know them and working with them. Today after we were finished working, we went to the beach again, and we brought a little fishing net to use, and Dustin and Josh each caught a fish with it. I am really looking forward to the rest of the week. I am not sure what I will be doing, but I am sure that I will have a lot of fun doing it, no matter how tough the job is. It is just great to be down here serving God and other people who need help. See you all later!

ReplyDeleteMan, I'm jealous you learned a skill I have no idea how to do. That's something you can put to use for the rest of your life. That and fishing with a net. Wow! Never done that either.
PLEASE tell Dustin and Josh not to catch any dolphins. I know they're thinking about it, but i think it might make Marissa and Hannah cry. Also, tell Hannah to watch out for those salt water alligators she mentioned in Lightbearers.
