It is 5:15 on Saturday afternoon.  We made it through security and we are waiting at the gate for our plane to board.  The kids are full of excitement and we are all anticipating an amazing trip.  Many of the kids have never flown before, so this is a very new and exciting experience for them.  Pray for safety during our flight.  Also that God will give boldness as we have opportunity to tell about our mission and praise Him to those around us.  We all have matching blue shirts with an outline of the state of Texas on them.  It is obvious to those around us that we are doing something special.  

Love to all.  We will post again when we arrive safely tonight.

    Wow! As I was looking at the members of this team, I realized that this group of individuals is phenomenal! A group of my favorite people ever, all in one place. This is going to be quite a special trip, especially because God is in the heart of it all.

    Lauren told me about this trip and her mom sent me to this blog. I am sooooo thankful. I will be praying for you guys and anticipating hearing all that God will do.

    Thanks for loving Jesus by serving others in His name. You are His hands and feet. Work hard and work with great love and humility.
